Kim! My roommate and I will definitely be growing salad greens in our college dorm next year! Cafeteria lettuce tastes like it was grown in sand.

Hello! Just started my first indoor lettuce container yesterday, so inspired by your video! I checked it today but I noticed that my windowsill has light, not not direct sunlight. Should there be direct sunlight hitting the soil? Also, when (at what stage) do you start watering the lettuce from below? Thanks!!

I've had my eye on those same pots for a while now and after seeing how great they look with greens in them I will be picking some up tomorrow after work. This winter my main focus has been starting an herb garden before spring. Under the grow lights I have scallions, thai basil, genovese basil, thyme, dill, mint, marjoram, summer savory, lavender, chives, oregano, rosemary, and I'm really excited about the lemongrass. I love watching your channel and the MIGardener channel. This year will be my 3rd year of keeping a proper garden so the fact that you are in California is really cool because I know that your garden activities are things I can absolutely be doing at the same time. Thanks for the great info!

Hi I just subscribed to your channel a few days ago.. I'm a huge MIGardener fan! Anyways, I'm enjoying watching your videos. I'd love to grow indoors but currently I'm having trouble with spider mites. I brought my lemon/orange trees indoors when it started getting cold and now my new seedlings are suffering. Any tips?

I just set up my indoor grow space and i'm so excited to start planting! Definitely going to try growing different lettuces as well as some herbs and maybe some dwarf varieties of tomatoes and eggplant and such! Wish me luck! Oh and I love the fact that I can get my spring seedlings started earlier
