I was wondering if you could do a size by side comparison between the Rockwell and Rapid Rooter Plugs. I'm really curious about the differences and if what if you propagated and stuck a Pepper plant stem right in one. These are what I'm talking about –

    Why DWC and not Kratky?

  • Jared Mccutcheon 3 months ago

For sure need a follow up. I see you did a DWC system. I was thinking you were going Kratky, lol. I've been trying a few small DWC containers for some super hot peppers and they seem to thrive, even better than the Kratky I have going.

For small containers I have found that beer or soda cans with their tops cut off (just use a can opener around the rim) allow 1" pots to fit perfectly and you don't have to worry about light getting in. I like to call them my beer garden lol

Is there a natural way to bring the pH down, like letting it sit out for 24 hours? I hate to use chemicals…
