Jeb would like to show you how to grow your own hydroponic cilantro or coriander. This one is indoor and Kratky style to hopefully avoid bolting.

This is 6.5 weeks into my project (it is currently 8 weeks at time of uploading) everything seems to be going well, however there are not enough fish for the number of plants so I make up some hydroponic nutrients to supplement the system. I have also gone 100% solar!
Just the right amount of fucked up for a gardening show! Have a sub my good sir.
actually learning why certain plants do certain things (like leaves going yellow "burnt") on this channel. still dont know how to handle nutrients though
Love it! Got try this myself!
Ha ha! Love the video! :0) New sub right here.
We love your videos, and fear you a little bit…..
love your videos man. +1 sub by the way, what temperature is it usually where you have your setup?? Also do you have the t5's on 24/7 or do you use a timer?
I love you, Jeb
I can't help but watch more of your videos, they are very well made
dear Mr jeb, how are your roots not rotting without aerating the water?
big fingers hahahah
After watching one of your videos the first time, I made the firm decision to never watch another. Too weird. So here I am watching again … after having seen some of your videos multiple times. Keep it up! Especially the background music.
gosh i'll make chicken tikka masala out of this leave !!!
Hi,
Great cilantro! What brand seeds you have used? Please put a link. Thanks.
I tried number of times to grow cilantro in Aerogarden using super market coriander without success.
Love this video, thanks for sharing
Jeb Gardner, I just purchased all the stuff needed to begin my veggie projects.
QUESTION: Is is possible to transplant an already, small, cilantro plant and keep growing it in nutrient solution?
BTW, I've been interested aqua/hydroponics for a while, you dumbed it down so much {not hatin'} I'm taking the plunge.
You are doing deep water culture (DWC) style hydroponics with no air stone? I didn't know that was an option!
lol you're awesome and yeah…crazy
Hilarious video! And very helpful. Thank you!
homade? made by a ho?
Do you ever add selenium, if so in what compound would you add it?
Goddamnit Amanda
Yeah, seriously Amanda. Gosh.
Ive been looking for this type of video my whole life. Thanks so much
I wonder if he just made it available recently or if it was always listed, I sure never saw it till now and I couldve sworn I browsed through all his videos
6:05 "Got up to about 90°"
European there:
Well 90°C, I see… lot of the water must have evapored due to the boiling…
😀
wicked sweet setup!! very useful.
Can you please give me the recipe of vegetable more specifically
Funny sounding tomato. Moo.
do you ever get nuitrents locking out when you just mix them like that or is that a myth that your supposed to add them one at a time in a certain order
"homade".. hmm, hard to trust someone who can't spell..
also this is just a video of mixing dry materials that were bought
makes more sense to show how he calculated stuff than to watch him pour things
"The cucumbers are going nuts." And the cabbages are going bananas! :-p
chemistry its awesome: you mix toxic substances and boooom: you have fertilizer to your plants, and after some reactions boooom: a tomato came out from the plant 🙂
too bad my chemistry teacher aren't good…
It looks like you limited the amps coming out of your panel by putting smaller (chipped) solar cells in series with large cells. The voltage will still add, but the amps are limited by the smaller cells. When I made a panel, I sorted all my cells by actually measuring the amps each put out in full sunlight. The cells with larger amps went into the same panel. (Even unchipped cells well vary in the amount of amps they output – especially when buying reject cells on ebay).
lol be nice to manda!
How did you make your own solar panel? That's so cool! Mind making a tutorial vid?
Sounds like you used to have a ghost problem in 2014 lol
Did that tomato just moo?
Do you have a video showing how you made your solar panel?
I wonder if you planted legumes which are nitrogen fixing would you need less nutrients
