do you have to peel the seed (like an orange) or can you leave the shell on?

I place my seeds in a plastic container with a damp paper towel on top and it started to germinate, so now I have them moved to soil. I just want to know, should I continue to keep my germinated soiled plants in the cool place such as the refrigerator? I read online that apple seed grow better up north because it colder and where I currently live it's very hot.

I had sprouts in my apple when I cut it, so I put it into a peat pot and it took off! 3 weeks in a mini greenhouse and its already at its 4th set of leaves.

Pink Lady, Lady Williams and I think Granny Smith, all of which are related, will often start sprouting in the apple.

I can't seem to get the seeds to grow. For some reason after a week of growing the seedlings start to turn a little brown and then even more as time passes and then they die. Could anyone tell me why this is happening because I have no clue.

This wont work for all apples, pretty sure some apple seeds species require wintering.
