thanks for watching the video. You can grow a number of different types of vegetables in this system, basically any thing that can fit. I have had very good success growing squash using this exact same system. The pump is set on a timer so its not running continuously, it runs about half the day.

I wanted to see this set up working? So the pump only needs to run half the cycle of the light, say the lights r on for 10hrs the pump needs to run for 5hrs right?

I like how you secured the hose to the tray with a zip tie through drilled holes.

Rock wool is definitely not "wool that has been condensed." (11:20)

Hydroponics is an effective system but it have some drawback, you must buy some "plant food", nutrition and supplements that may be costly. Before making any hydroponics system, you need to check out the advantage of aquaponics system, which can automate 95% of work.

Why did you cap the hose at all? I woulda just ran it back to the res and put the valve after the drip lines then you can regulate the flow of water to your plants.

you will need a monster plant.. lol

Is it okay if I make all this, but without the air pump or airstone

Parallel? Apparatus? You sound uncomfortable just saying big words. Stick to words that you would know, words that are more like you, more…lowbrow…if you will.
