I am too concerned about the product being organic and a non gmo. I called the company and was told that they try to use organic when it is available, but if it isn't they are using fruits and vegetables that have been treated with pesticides. As a cancer survivor this is a huge issue, I will keep looking for usda organic and non gmo products. Sorry Juice Plus, but you need to find organically farmed produce and use only organic to insure a totally healthy product.

They claim that this product is low in sugar. What a joke. Each 2 capsules (recommended daily dosage) contain 1.5g of the powder totaling 5 calories of which 100% come from carbohydrates. Did you know that 1.5 grams of pure real sugar contain only 6 calories? Google it! If 1.5 grams of Juice Plus contains 5 calories and 1.5 grams of pure sugar contains 6 calories it means that Juice Plus contains practically as much sugar as pure sugar itself!

@romany – you make your point in your first post. Why all the additional effort to denigrate the folks that like and support JuicePlus? If people truly feel better when they consume this product, who are you to challenge them and denigrate them for their nutritional/supplemental food choices? And more importantly, why? To what end? I'm sure your energy would be better spent somewhere else. By the way, after reading this entire thread, I'm now more inclined to buy JP than ever.

I also eat Juice plus+, I am a firm believer that nutricion comes from mother nature, adding Juice plus+ to my daily intake is a bonus and a vital extra for my fitness recovery. I am sure that eating Juice plus+ gives me more value than taking ordinary supplements like whey products. So thumbs up for the capsules and the complete+ shake.

There are NO pesticides or insecticides and every batch is tested.  All JP products are NON-GMO, gluten free and are actually better than organic because of the quality standards and certifications.  The Juice Plus Company knows their farmers and refuse to cut corners.  The products are vine-ripened and are mainly from family farms in the United States.  "Organic groceries" can contain many contaminants in their soil that are natural, such as fecal matter.

Lots of talk about certification, but no mention of the ones that really count: non-GMO status and organic certification. Also, this is, no matter how you spin it, aheavily-processed and overpriced nutrient-poor substitute for food. Nice for a space mission, but nothing beats real food. Any vitamin store sells what you make, WITHOUT the huge markup form your multi-level scheme. Carrageenan, GMO soy, fructose, synthetic beta carotene…junk in a jar.

I don't find the words "certified organic" mentioned anywhere.  While the freshness and processing sound perfect,  if the ingredients are raised with pesticides, that fact overrides these big positives.  I came to the website with the intention of buying … and having to walk away because of what is primary:  not putting poisons in my body.

Thanks to John Blair, an impressive view at  the real quality of life, based on pure and ripe fruits, vegetables and berries, showed yesterday to an interested audience of TOPAZ, GRowth Group in Lage Vuursche…
