Hi Don – been tinkering with aeroponics for about 18 months now; thanks for sharing – definitely one of the best videos out there. There are alot of hypsters out there so this is appreciated. In fact the set-up is similar though I have not yet moved to the high pressure yet. Since you are recirculating, you might consider using a UV clarifier on the return line.

One question though, what size orifice are you using on the mist head? How is the coverage from top to bottom? I have been testing 0.12, 0.16 and 0.20 inch with a PVC wand configuration: 3 tiers of 5 mist heads in a circle.

BTW, there is alot of good information for aeroponics enthusiasts and a lively community as well at MIT: http://www.openag.org.

    Hey Don,

Thank you so much for this! Its nice to have this as a reference. Real quick question, the solenoid switch you have, could you explain that a bit more?

Well done, sir.  I've been searching for a video like this that actually showed the equipment rather than just the plants.  I assume the pump is electric, no?  Standard 110v?  Rough cost for the pumping system, not including the drums?  Thanks.

    Hi Don,
I was wondering how your system has grown or is lookin' right now.
I want to build this system myself and I was wondering how I could get in touch with you when I have specific questions?
    Kind regards,
    Tom
