I left a video review on Amazon and I thought it might be helpful to some of you.
CZ 1″ Net Pots may be purchased on Amazon.
CZ Garden hasn’t given me any kickbacks/discounts/free stuff. I’m just sharing information, I hope this is useful.

I found 7/8 inch net pots on Amazon for a good price, how much of a difference is 7/8" from 1"? Thanks for the money saving idea idea
I'm just start researching Hydroponic. It seems you can grow the lettuce with the 1 inch net pot. Is there any reason to use 2 inch net pot at all? I'm just planning do grow lettuce and herb for now. Probably add tomatoes, cucumber, and strawberries once I get a hand of it.
Where do you buy those black 1 gallon buckets ?
Good to know I dont need to use the whole cube. I would be careful handling dry rockwool. I heard the fibre is unsafe to human if inhaled.
John – What do you use as a humidity dome for the 1-gallon black buckets? Thanks.
John – Great video. I first saw it on Amazon and then found you here. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. I appreciate it!
Thank you very much for inspiring me to save money this way. I'm going to try this method with an NFT system. I'm hoping the 1" net cups are large enough.
I really like your idea of starting them 7 at a time to save rack space. I like the way of saving rockwool too. I already have 2" netpots and I've been trying to use mason jars for kratky so I might get a 2 gal bucket that I should be able to fit 7 holes in for my netpots.
you don't need to ph the water when you soak anymore. google it
Definitely going to try this – silly question did you drill the holes yourself I’m an apartment dweller maybe I can find someone with tools
I really appreciate this way to save money. Rockwool cubes are expensive for what they are. I also like the way you transplanted the small net pots into the larger one gallon buckets. It keeps seed starting fool proof with no opportunity for the cubes to dry out and no transplant shock. Thanks!
