Nice work, your roots look perfect.

Yea, the tower is outside, so it's getting full sun almost the entire day – and LED just won't compare to the effective light output of the sun!

HID would definitely help though, you can get pretty darn close to ~10k lumens with that depending on your grow space.

What do you think that effects the growth of the leaves using this LED garden (if compared with the tower garden) ? Is it because the LED garden is not supplying enough light compared with the tower garden? If the LED is changed with HID type of lights will the plan grow better?

That's exactly where I keep them – I know its a bit higher than normal as far as the inverse square law goes, but I don't think it's made a huge difference!

How high do you keep the LED lights in this setup, are they raised for the video or do they stay high all the time? Like is it similar to HPS/MH lights where it can be a couple feet off the canopy or is it like T5 lights where it needs to be super close?
