Our container vegetables have grown much bigger. Here is some update. We will also talk about using fertilizer in container gardening.
One of the common problems in container gardening is fertilizing. I mixed aged rabbit manure with potting mix, ¼ ratio, as growing soil in the containers. Two weeks after transplanting, the vegetables had shown signs of nutrients deficiency. Organic fertilizer takes months up to years to fully de-compost. There is very limited nutrients available for the vegetables in such short period. In order to let vegetables grow better, we should supplement some fertilizer.
