I tried doing this when my daughter was 1 and I was kinda furious at first because she pulled up a lot of baby plants. Now at 3, she is helping me out every time I'm out in the garden.
So cute! I can't keep my kids from pulling stuff up and my 1 year old puts everything in her mouth BUT they are so excited and ready to help.

I enjoy my time in the garden so much and now that my teenage girls are excited to come help me, it's wonderful together times. We are making memories and learning together, and when I look at so many other teens/parents, it breaks my heart that most don't even talk to each other. Gardening has made our family close and truly thankful for our time together.

I love this episode I started watching your videos when I was pregnant and this is the first year I have done a huge garden and my daughter is now a years and 4 months, she waters the plants for me while I weed and she loves helping kids are much smarter then most people think and I believe getting them out side while they are this young with help make them want to be outside rather then be in side watching tv!
