Lecture date: 2001-06-09 Often overlooked as a topic within garden conservation programmes, correct detailing is a vital consideration in grant applications and management plans. This two-day conference – the first day concentrating on plants and planting, the second day focusing on hard landscape – looks closely at detailing in historic parks and gardens. Conference chaired by Ted Fawcett (founder of the AA Garden Conservation programme). Ada Segre (Garden historian, designer) – ‘Design and Historical Planting in Italian Formal Gardens’ Video Rating: / 5 Ive just finished marking, this years students first design project, and thought some of you might be interested in seeing what we do. Their first project is based around a real client and site as are all the student projects, as I believe its important to give you as much real life experience as we can.
