Getting the kids excited about the upcoming gardening season can be a challenge but there is a simple solution in sight. This solution requires no special equipment and can utilize some of those leftover sweet potatoes you may have lying around in the potato bin. This project is great for all ages with supervision. Listen to a story about Mr and Mrs Rabbit, and how they use an unusual container to grow lettuce in. The story is told by Dave Saunders, a Pollinator at the Eden Project in Cornwall. Our team of Pollinators interacts with the public who visit Eden through stories, songs and drama. Dave runs the Growzone, where he inspires children to try out a bit of creative gardening.
