"We want it like crumbly brownie mix!" Favorite part. Did Kylin say he made that pond? Thats so cool. Brian and his friend putting these kids to work. Thats what I'm going to need when i have children. Love the video Kim! Also the kids made a good point. You should add cucumbers that are high yielded and larger than normal store bought. Cucumbers grow super fast and they are almost indestructible. So just watching the plants grow and flower would be awesome. Especially once they produce large fruits. I bet they would want to show friends how big they got their fruit

Great video, Kim! I don't have little ones myself, but it's been really fun to get my friends interested in sustainable food gardening! Many of them have asked me for help staring their apartment gardens, and I use videos of yours for tips and guidance!

Every year we make gardening fun by having each of them pick their favorite veggie or flower and let them take the reigns. They are in charge of watering and pruning and harvesting. Then when it's time to eat their vegetable they get to pick how its cooked. They love the garden to table and to play with the dirt!

Love, love gardening with the kiddos. They tend to try more vegetables now that we grow our own.

Thank you so much for doing this! I wasn't sure where to start or what to buy so my littles and I garden this summer. I made a check list and shopping list! Its also really helpful to see how kids garden differently than adults.

Great video! I learned that worm castings is a great way to add nutrients to your garden! I also learned that you need to put the tallest vegetables in the middle to keep them from shading the other vegetables. Gardening with kids is so much fun!
