If the Garden Tower is located outside odors are not a problem whatsoever. Vermicomposting is essentially odorless (properly functioning), mild organic odors from the soil processes in the planter are stronger than the composting odors. If you plan do use it inside, there will be the usual odors of moist potting soil and wet organics which are generally non-offensive to most people but I'm not going to say it's a completely odorless process. Outside a condo = absolutely no odor issue.

One question though. I live in a suburban Iowa condo and technically I'm not allowed to have a composter in my housing association because of smell issues. Does this product have any noticeable smell that I would get complaints about from my busybody neighbors? I just really want to find ways to grow a nice garden this year.
