GARDEN TIPS I cannot exaggerate this but, adding compost, manure ect on top of the soil does not help the plant grow.
This is because the minerals are denser than water, therefore can barely move when water is applied.
But when mixed with soil in the root zone it will help the plants.

One of the best liquid fertlizer is very diluted urine. If you have a horse it's easy to catch in a bucket. A bucket of horse pee fertilizes hundreds of plants if diluted.
