Executive Chef Brooke Vosika at Four Seasons Boston proudly introduces the first batch of organic honey produced from the hotel’s very own bee hives. Over thirty pounds of pasteurized honey will be on sale at the Four Seasons Boston hotel, produced from hives on the hotel’s urban green roof. After months of careful cultivation and dedication, Executive Chef Vosika and the other culinary staff have honed their beekeeping skills, yielding an amazing amount of organic honey. The flavor of the organic honey reflects the different species of wildflowers and fresh herbs grown on top of the hotel’s green roof. Four Seasons Boston currently has four bee hives situated on its green roof and cares for a total of 40,000 ‘Italian Lover’ Honeybees. Executive Chef Vosika and his beekeeping staff are currently working in pasteurizing a second batch of over 40 pounds of honey that will also be available for purchase.
