Installing a Modified Bitumen 2 Ply Torch Down Rubber Membrane over an existing Tar and Gravel is the most cost-effective way to replace a flat roof. There is no need to remove the existing roof because the fiberglass is anchored to it and performs as a barrier between the 2 ply rubber membrane that is placed over it and fused together with a torch.
Installing a Torch Down Rubber roof over tar and gravel will:
1. Save the expense of tear down and hauling away of the old roof
2. Save on labor cost
3. Save on material cost
4. Provide an added insulation

Erik so we only newcomers work 🙂 It would certainly than share experience. You went to work much faster and better. Do not think that I am writing out of idle curiosity, and all so literate, do not be offended. There are some nuances that would accelerate all your processes. For example: the day my brother and I can overlap two of 400 squares in a 2-bed 🙂 It was such, really hard, up to 300 squares of fine 🙂
Your supposed to use wood fiber board on flat recovers and vacuum of the loose rock.
