Easy Hydroponic Tomato
How to grow hydroponic tomatoes, the easy way. In our previous video we showed you how to plant Roma tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets with net cup lids. We also placed some in our small NFT system. Here is how they did.

I wish I had known about keeping the fluid level 3/4 of the way and drilling the drain holes. I didn't catch that in your other videos. I was in the hospital and my husband was helping me. For 3 weeks he kept the buckets filled. I am so upset about my lost crops, lost plants and all the money I spent setting this up. I lost 30+ buckets worth. SO PLEASE, DRILL THE HOLES IN YOURS.

I've managed to grow 4 tomato plants using hydroponics (kratky method) and all of them grew to 6ft by now. I was able to see good growth in all 4 until recently i notice that 1 of the tomato plant is having serious issue. All its leaves wilted all of a sudden. Rest 3 are growing good. Appreciate any solution to save the tomato plant with wilted leaves

Excuse me, I didn't understand why you did a little hole, it's because we need to allow the oxigen enter into the container or, it's just to add nutrients, and, it's necessary to do the hole in all our containers?, Thanks for your videos, I like it so much!

    Hey Mike
Love the video's and all sorts of great information. My question is this. With your tomatoes do you change the nutrient level once they start to flower or do you leave it the same during the entire growing cycle
Keep up the fantastic information and video's

Greetings, thanks very much for your visit, awesome content you have here. I wish I had place where I could plant but in the big city is difficult to do. I'll visit here and check out your other work as well

I spent the holiday doing my gardening from under a patio umbrella. It was great sitting in a chair, filling nutrient buckets, cutting noodles, and inserting plants. Hydroponic gardening is awesome. Fast forward to today, and I would like to pass on an observation. I have been bringing home red, and blue coffee containers from work. I have hundreds of them. Some I have painted, or covered with tape. Others I have left plain. My observation today was that the red containers have long strings of algae growing from the bottom of the roots. The blue containers are still clean, and clear. My priority will now be to get the reds covered, and then move on to the blues. I hope this helps somebody.
