This is the first video in this series on how to earn money from selling tomatoes and tomato plants. In this video I show each step of planting your seeds. I really do recommend the Big Beef tomato variety. It has grown very well in long growing seasons like Houston, Texas and short seasons in Idaho Falls, Idaho. It has a very nice growing structure, is disease and pest resistant and produces beautiful ½ to 1-1/2 pound tomatoes. Cucumbers sell very well too. I really like the straight eight variety. IMPORTANT: Buy seeds before the end of this season for next year. Otherwise, seeds may not be available for purchase when you need them. Even if you don't sell them, but grow for your own use, this is a valuable video of information! I have the Mittleider course book, but seeing this happening on video is much more helpful.
Thanks for your efforts, and I look forward to the rest of this series!

Will you be doing a video on how to make contacts to sell your fruits/vegetables? What medium do you recommend to best sell them in our own side tent on a busy street, farmers market, to local stores?
