Why do people building Dutch bucket and other hydroponic/aquaponic systems on YouTube insist on using PVC piping? PVC is not food safe because it leaches toxic chemicals into the nutrient water. I suggest anyone considering building such systems take the time to discover which plastics are safe to use. PVC is not.
Have you ever had plants just refuse to grow in them? I have tried everything from possible algae infestation to checking ph twice a day
and all that pain for planting one seedling in a bucket
