Drill a hole in the edge of the lid for maximum waterfall effect splash, then you won't have to worry about a hole in the bucket hehe pun, plus I use a clear tube with my header bucket as a periscope water level indicater to show water height just a smidgen below the net pot.
I also use my wife's craft felt the thicker one not the thin type as used in fllood n tables, to line the net pot and I use coco with 30% perlite for that Earthly feeling, I find the craft felt is perfect and roots pierce through no worries,
hey bud how would you hook up a chiller to this I live in a hot climent. Should the pump pull right out of the chiller and draw from the resavor. Just trying to understand it.
Very cool looks very efficient I agree would widing it both ways more room for your plants. Do show us how your plants fit, will your air hose get in the way of your plants?
have you tried putting an air stone or 2 right in front of the pump intake or in it. ive seen some people do it and you get a nice miro bubble blast going to all buckets
that's bad ass man!
R u running ur diy bucket system. I'm about to do the exact build if its worth it. What's ur yield in a 4 by 8. What was total cost to build.
Is rdwc more complicated or convenient/better than soil ?

Thank you . Best video I’ve seen and I am going to duplicate this with hard piping.
Any chance you can post a parts list? Your setup looks great and appreciate the time it took you to put all this together to share!
