Regarding the plant stand, it may have been simpler to apply Command hooks at four corners of the pan underside. The hooks would keep the stand from spreading and can be easily removed if you decide to use it for a different purpose.

I absolutley love these ideas. I have so many old cake pans and have thrown some away in the past due to rust. NO MORE :). I love the Folding rack idea. I have lots of work to do…Excited about things I have that I can repurpose for plant stands.

I have about 70 plants in my house. This year I added a lot of edibles, mostly microgreens. My favorite is radish greens, I have a 10" pot, add a lot of radish seeds, and eat thinnings as they grow. In a month, I get a dozen full size radishes and their greens. Or I eat them as greens and start again. I have a 12" pot of peas, and eat the greens. I also have turnips, onions, spinach, dinosaur kale, red mustard, garlic, lentils, mache, aloe.
New discovery (for me) is that spider plants are edible. A main food source in rural Africa. I have 4 and give the babies away… they will become stir fry.
Adding so many pots is too expensive, so I watched for ideas. Thank you.
