DIY Impatien Vertical Wall Garden UPDATE! | July 6, 2014
Pinterest made us do it! After see a gorgeous flower wall garden on Pinterest I convinced Hubby that we needed one as well. As with most things on Pinterest, finding detailed DIY instructions was next to impossible so we basically flew by the sit of our pants on this one. DIYing this wall was frustrating at times but in the end (its now 4 weeks later) completely worth it and we love it!
The footage in this video was recorded on March 30, 2014.

tell me again, why isn't SHE doing this project? It doesn't take a rocket scientist.
Super really enjoyed watching you set up the Impatient Wall. Job well done! Thank You
very, very nice
keep learning guys. e for effort. I think maybe the weather going to get the best of ya. deterioration will come sooner than u think. keep at it good job
I love watching a young man and woman work together, it gives me hope for the future of us all here in the USA. I"m sure that it will be a show stopper of colour and joy for all who view it.
You could have put blocks of wood under the bottom of the latice. It would give support for it. Doing a great job!
I think maybe what could have been done was to put some vertical supports connecting the top and portions of the lattice. I looks beautiful and am so glad it turned out well.
poor guy.
Given that the lattice and landscaping material confine the soil, how do you add fertilizer? Individually at the base of each plant where the material opens?
This video was awesome! Really nice work!
Before sealing up the sections with that middle piece of wood it might have been helpful to wet down the soil because it will compact down with water and if you've sealed up your sections there won't be much you can easily do to then add needed soil. I do love this video in that it showed the trials and errors gone through to achieve the end result.
Next time try it on paper first cause it's easier to change you mistakes with a rubber erase then doing it all live by hand in you mouth.
Trial and error will win out. Your will shows you have gravity.
This was an excellent video mistakes and all shows all problems first hand. Then on comments you can pick what will help u with a better project..again kudos on the video.ps I'm also a master gardener and will be using this as a teaching tool. :-)
I really enjoyed watching your Vertical garden, especially because you showed trial and error. i cant wait to start my own vertical garden.
This could be edited down to like 2 mins…………………
After watching this video be sure to watch the update for tips and pictures of what the wall looks like now! http://youtu.be/zQ2nsWMqmQM
safety not first
No earplugs…not smart dude
Lowes got y'all beat! The super expensive tools you use and the complexity of the project is a nope. Had better luck with lowes projects. Way too fast a pace and the music is creepy lol
Are there actual plans for this available? I want to adjust this to a 5 ft high garden wall to use as a privacy wall on my deck. I'm guessing we'd want to have a wider base?
cool
I like your videos, they are interesting. I can help you add animations and motions to them like intro, outro, titles, animated graphics…. Nice work, keep it up.
Do you have a parts list for this? Great idea
Good project. I would use redwood instead being you are going to have a soaker hose flooding it.
What's up with the top ?
After all that, the top was left long? Otherwise, cool project.
