This is a low pressure Aeroponics Hydroponics system I built myself. This DIY project is very simple to build and only took about an hour or two to put together.
The seedlings are grown in rockwool cubes https://amzn.to/2W9upiy
The lights I’m using are T5 fluorescents I purchased on Amazon https://amzn.to/38cHXya
The bulbs I’m using are a combination (50/50) of the 6500k bulbs that came with the above light fixtures and these 3000k bulbs https://amzn.to/38qRq5b
The grow tent can be seen here https://amzn.to/377xQdD
The pump used in my setup is no longer produced, I’ve had it a while. Here is the equivalent (800gph) https://amzn.to/38iSyYd
The spray nozzles can be found on Amazon as well https://amzn.to/38p2obj
These are the bulkhead fittings I used to connect both bins with my common sump https://amzn.to/38lYVKE
Hope this help. Feel free to ask questions in the comment section!

Hi , you were talking about pump frequency 15 off and 15 on is it minutes or secs?
Clean… nice work with the feed line through the return line! Why didn't I think of that!?
are nutrient solutions the same for hydro and areoponic systems?
Love the simplicity of system and smaller footprint, nicely done! (subbed)
How did it fair longer term?
(I suffer from over engineering stuff until it breaks)
Very cool
How often do you check your chemical pH and nutrients levels?
How often does this pump run? Continuously or every 20 mins etc?
how many gallons of water are your running?
How did you get the Tee inside the 2” tee
is it possible to grow plants like 15 to 20 days?
What are the sizes of the pipes and net cups you are using? And that blue nozzle that attaches from the inside to the pump, where can i get one?
So I have researched into which containers are best for an aeroponic system. I saw that the tote boxes are not FDA approved – food safe plastics. Are you not concerned that certain plastics will degrade and be released into the system , and potentially affect the safety of the edible plants you are growing?
Loved it! How do you prepare the seedlings for that success? Do you have another video for that? Also, what material did you use around the buckets for reflection? Thanks so much for sharing this!
How do you empty the water chamber to change the water???
Looks like a great system
Thanks very much for taking the time to share the info pal.
Does it matter that I use all 360 degree nozzles?
I would switch out the tomato plant for something more productive like chives, regular or garlic variety. Toms need a lot more light and space.
Cool video subbed as well can I get more info on the light set up
Nice rig! Subbed up. Came here from your post on FB.
