you said dechlorinated water? how do you do that?
How much electricity do you use?
You could have a tank with the neutrint solution in with a line going to a water pretior pump so when your water level goes down the loss of pretior in the pipe starts the pump which will pump pre mixed solution so your ph and newts stay constant
Great Videos, Thank you very much for sharing with all of us.
Awesome, I love it.
Have a aquaponic system that's 3000 gallons 1000 to 5000 tilapia 100 plants also have a small 40 site aeroponic system.Love your system I used 4 inch pvc just two questions what kind and output of pump and what kind and where to get sprinkler heads. Thanks and keep up the good work
So what is the best water float vales out there.?
very nice, love home made stuff. No need to pay big $$$$ when it can be done with a little handy man work
how is your system set up for the pump and reticulation could you do a video on the system how it is built. thanks
fantastic setup….I am about to build a 4 rail system. I wish you would explain pros & cons of having pump in the rez and/or out….you obviously have your pump outside…can you explain your reasoning…Thanks, Dan
You use a Quiet One pump. Can you give us an idea of the capacity of pump we would need, say for a 3 rail system?
hello, I really dig your video. I was thinking about doing a 3 rail system. I was wondering what size and brand of pump you would recommend? and is your drain line 1 1/2" or 2"?
How is the filter element connected to the pipe inside your tanks? Did you obtain a commercial setup or did you retrofit the filter to go over PVC?
I learn a lot from your vids and appreciate the fabrication skills! What size pumps were those btw, seems like some nice air flow to the nutes
I really do like what you came up with. Very frugal. One thing I personally would love to do is use a DIY spectroscope that consists of a camera and a prism and use that to measure quantities of particulates in the water along with a Raspberry Pi board and PH meter to log and automate, with electronic valves, PH and nutrient adjustments.
Your workmanship is really excellent. I am curious what your monthly power costs are for a system such as this. What is the system consuming in Kw-hr? Thanks!
Thank you, so much for your continuing feedback on this post. Been looking for a few weeks for the "lil boy canister filter" but only found "Fluval Foam Block for Fluval 404 / Fluval 405 2pk". Also thought this would be cool; looking at your Aeroponic, electrical conduit, used as a water return, as a feed for a Fogponics system, with a CPU fan as a blower. Not sure it will be even enough to make an impact but would love to see the results.
hi like your system were than you get your ball vale
What site can I buy a pre-filter for my pump???
