Ole fat boy is killing me .. Notice the hip is not cut to overhang length .!! .. This tells me they are unsure of their overhang or just can't figure it out !! .. The offset on the sheathing on a 12/12 is 33.94" or 35.26 degrees … Well isn't that ironic !! .. The same pitch as the hip .. I also noticed he took no time to lay off the sheathing .. Granted , towards the hip it doesn't matter because they are so close to anchorage .. But a little birdie tells me .. These are redneck savages .. In 38 years of construction .. I have never run into a fat bastard that is worth a shit on a roof .. They are only good at pointing fingers or keeping the sawhorses warm

Can we not build anything anymore, even sheet a roof, without using a special calculator? I'm not against using calculators, but why would we want to learn framing skills if we're not going to use those skills?
