For this young family, life in a tiny house is largely centred around a desire to live with a lighter footprint and do something good for the environment. The comments complaining about not having the family or the land are a bit negative. I dont think people realize its still achievable without having family with land. Also there are many people on here that dont have a stitch if experience building. Many people rent the land or buy small pockets of land or parking spaces. Also people with family who have land also have debt as well which is why they've turned to their family for help. If you have no one and no land, renting land is an option as well.

Aloha, I feel so sorry for the people that felt the need to vote this idea down … as well as many more tiny house videos … I can't afford even the cheapest either.. but I am still happy for those that are lucky
    enough to be able to.

    Jesus is coming soon.

    Jesus kommt bald.

    Jésus arrive bientôt.

Jesus is the way and your eternal life.

Jesus ist der Weg und dein ewiges Leben.

Jésus est le chemin et votre vie éternelle.

Receive Jesus as our Savior to repent of sins and enter heaven.

Nimm Jesus als unseren Retter auf, um von Sünden umzukehren und in den Himmel zu

    kommen.

Recevez Jésus comme notre Sauveur pour vous repentir des péchés et entrer auciel.

I've got to say that the guy in this video the owner is dumb unintelligible. Also I think the girlfriend might be in for a shock as its quite clear that he is a homosexual.

Love the counter top. Always gravitate towards wood furniture that has flaws in it.

Tina, I agree. From seeing several videos of Tiny Houses, I see what may be called "Tiny Communities or Villages" spawning here and there. At present, technology is much more miniaturised than twenty years even less. Solar panels, compost toilets, accessible designs for people like me who use wheelchairs, etc. I admit having money to build (if one can't like me who needs helpers does help. "gotta-have-bigger/more/all" is so immature making us people who think about the environment/healthy living push even more to try to change the thinking patterns of others. But then, the best way to change is often if not always is by example. I live in the city (Gatineau, Québec across from Ottawa( where there is public/para transit. It's a challenge even to make municipal/provincial/federal governments commit to helping people to live healthy with ecological thinking. We need people like those who live in tiny houses to show others that it's realistic and very much possible to live healthy. It's now the time to make a tiny change that could be big benefit for all of humanity.
