In principle, the concrete garden fountains they can be divided into two types: the fountains to be placed against a wall and those that can instead support themselves; in the first genre we have fairly classic shapes, with a plate that contains the tap and a plate that is positioned below the plate. The fountains that instead support themselves can be of a very different type, from the simplest column fountains, consisting of a column of various sizes, to which the tap is attached, under which a water collection tank can be arranged. Surely the first element to take into account is the position available to house the fountain; secondly let’s consider the use we want to make of it: if it is a pure decorative element we can turn to a large circular fountain, if instead it is a fountain to be used as a source of water in the garden or in the vegetable garden, perhaps it is advisable to use a column fountain or, better still, one to be placed against the wall.
