It isnt efficient yet , as in they have not been able to scale it down . Right now there are aquaponics plants but they are still taking quite alot of area hence it won't be coming in the near future .
Fairly obvious that more complex foods like bananas requires trees.

I hope they introduce small-scale hydroponic kits for people who want to grow their own vegetables at home. Plenty of sunshine in the backyard can be put to good use.
This is wonderful and fascinating. It will help to produce good quality and quantity of food in the under developed countries in the world. I hope one day leaders of the those countries will stop playing politics with their people and bring this kind of advanced technologies to their countries with out involving corruption. So that people can live their lives happily.
