this was really helpful; I am making a succulent tier similar to this…I notice you didn't put any black fabric in the cinder block holes before the plants (some other tutorials did this)- it seems easier not to, especially if you have dirt under your block, like I will have. Am I missing something, as in a reason why one should put black fabric in the holes??
