Check out this fun and easy way to create a backyard butterfly habitat with kids. William Moss shows us how to use nectar rich plants to attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and other garden friendlies. Flowers like aster, lobelia, cardinal flowers and cone flowers invite butterflies and add beauty to the garden. The children learn how to get in the plants in the ground and even find a giant earth worm! Patti Moreno, the Garden Girl, gardens with her daughter Alejandra as they make a salad together. Grow your mints in containers that you can move around. Chives are my favorites! Let them go crazy.
