I have built two of these now. Just finished eating a salad of 3 different lettuce, spinach, and snap beans. Strawberries for desert. The boat is next!
seems to me you would have alot of stem rot as your rockwool looks like algae! i would put in some hydroton or put some black plastic over the tops of the net pots.how do the roots look? curious how you keep the water temp down to keep root rot form occuring (yeah i know a thing or two about hydro. i am in the process of selling off everything to buy boat in keys in the spring good luck man!

Have you ever considered using aged urine? And maybe building a greenhouse like cover for the plants to let the sea water fall away from it while underway?

@TreborNosredna Thanks. How powerful is the air pump? Also do you put it into the solution so it also acts like an airator at the same time? I like this idea because it combines the hydroponic and hydroponic setup into one pump.
Is the air pump just on a timer so that it only feeds at proper intervals? Is the back cap on the feeding tube also a one way valve so you can refill it without pulling the system apart?
