Thanks for all the specs, but all that's holding the frame of the grow bed from falling down is plywood and a few screws. The frame should be on top of the legs, so gravity is working with the strength of the legs rather than pulling away
If you notched out the legs on two sides so that the frame could sit on top, you would still have a tongue of wood going up into the frame area to screw to the frame. Kind of like what you did with the sides of the bed itself, sitting them on the base.
