Mine is grass clippings all summer for
Mulch. Then in fall we mow up the leaves with the grass.

Thanks Joe! What do you think of coco coir as a mulch? It's hard for me to find straw mulch in LA but was able to get coco coir from Home Depot.
Good stuff! I'm personally a fan of anything you can get off your own property as it doesn't have to be shipped from anywhere, and if not that then stuff you can get that isn't packaged in plastic bags (which of course creates plastic waste). I use pine straw, leaves, and wood mulch that I get in bulk for free.
