Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz about honey bees – colony collapse, neonicotinoids. Are we in the depths of a beepocalypse? What about all of the other pollinators and beneficial insects? Is there anything specific we can do to help? This presentation will highlight some of the various bee species, as well as beneficial insect species in Maryland, how to identify them, and what steps can be done to create a more insect-friendly landscape.
Learning Objectives
1. Learn about the various species of bees in Maryland and the pollination services they provide.
2. Find out about the various beneficial insects in our area, how to identify them in various stages of development, and what insect they prey on.
3. Understand what recent research indicates is impacting these insects and how to mitigate those effects.
4. Obtain a working plant pallet, based on current research data about specific plant materials that provide nectar and pollen sources to those insects.

This was very entertaining to watch and I am glad you made it. thank you for the share. Question. . . can you make a video on how to quote jobs for people?
Glad to see you brothers work together so good. Wish I had a brother. God gave me a sister instead. Oh well.
Why didn't you buy a higher ladder that day to get the tree trimmed proper so you would get a better impression?
Love the accent!
I did plan on doing landscaping, but realized it’s not my thing. Detailing cars are my favorite thing to do, but landscaping is also rewarding afterwards.
