We take you through the process of how we installed this artificial green pillar for a client.
At RE-SOURCE we enjoy taking a hands on approach to our projects.
We sourced for the artificial plants and “”planted”” the wall. In this video, Ziqi shares some tips and guidelines you can use when creating an artificial green wall that looks natural for yourself or your client.
Generally, artificial Green Walls are a great way to add life to a space. They’re low maintainance, and fully customizable.
First we listen to the client’s requrements, it could be mono tones of greens, vibrant colours, or abstract compositions.
There are not many rules to the arrangements, but at RE-SOURCE we ensure we select the most realistic faux plants to achieve the most natural effect.
The first step is to install a base turf. The one we used here is artificial clover leaves. You can also use a bed of moss, or carpet grass. The next step is to install the artificial plants in a way that looks natural.
Once we decided, we will compose the different elements. Generally we try not to put similar colored plants together. We can divide them by shades of greens, types of plants or colors.
For a round pillar like this, we try not to lay them out in a linear way. This means avoiding horizontal or vertical lines. and creating organic shaped clusters for a more natural effect.
At Re-Source, we are believe in bringing you uniquely sourced products you can’t find elsewhere. We are here to be your partner, to Source, Customize and Design.
