Yoir tray dimensions will either be interior dimensions or outer dimensions.
I was thinking of going with one of those setups. Do you get a lot of algae in the channels of the tray? It seems like there is a fair bit of standing nutrient water. I've seen where people put a lightproof film on the bottom too(with slits like you did for your big cubes).

hey do the roots ever grow out of the bottom? if so, what happens?

I have been running flood and drain tables for a good 10 years now in 5 x 5/tents and this is one of the best ideas I’ve seen for lowering your trey as low as possible and still recirculat your water back to the reservoir I love it I’m changing to a top feed lowering my table, finally removing the reservoir from inside the tent and using the condensate pump to return the water back to the reservoir thanks for posting great set up for the tent
