John from http://www.growingyourgreens.com/ visits Austin Aquaponics to share with you how they are growing using aquaponics system on a commercial scale with and without fish.
You will discover the different areas of the farm and how different bioponic systems are being used to grow a variety of fruits and vegetables. You will discover the role the fish plays in an aquaponic system, as well as some of the organic and natural supplements that are being used to supercharge this world class aquaponics system to grow the best tasting, nutrient dense food for the Austin, Texas community.
In this tour style episode, John you will see the fish tanks, the gravel beds, the raft beds, the fishless aquaponic beds as well as see the stores of organic amendments that are being used to grow top quality food. You will also see the area of the farm used for classes to teach locals as well as some sample aquaponics systems that any homeowner can set up at their home to grow food with or without the fish.
Finally, John will sit down with Rob Nash, the aquaponics farmer, and live-strong aquapon who will share his ideas about the future of farming and its NOT aquaponics! Rob will also admit that growing in soil is easier than growing in aquaponics and the secret nutrients that are required to grow top quality aquaponics food for you, your family and your community.

This isn't aquaponics this is hydroponics you need waste produced by fish for it to be aquaponics.
The fish died and they needed to figure out how to feed the plants. Worm castings.
Boom.
Fixed your 30 minute video of infomercial rambling into the ONLY part of the video where you talk about Anything related to the title.
Big yellow joint, everbody's down at the big yellow joint. Nice shirt.
I love what you said about having a childlike mind and experimenting. I'm always trying new things and love that approach! Keep it up!
JOHN!!! where did you get that shirt from that is dope..lol. I love that show arrested development!
Very informative but slow down, take a breather and go easy on your voice. You're throwing a ton of information but it's useless trying to follow you when you're going that fast. Almost seems like you're trying to do an infomercial.
Is it just me or does he sound like he is high as hell in this video?
look at that tree kale! "Kalezilla"!
Great video one of your best i kinda figured some one would hone in on raising food without the fish soon.
How does adding nutrients affect the water quality as it cycles back to the fish tank?
Aloha so cool.
Sorry bro can't subscribe to someone that dumb. That's hydro.
Can chicken poop be used instead of work castings
Aquaponics na hydroponics
Just wondering why you don't dabble in aquaponics
"THERE'S MONEY IN THE BANANA STAND!!!"
fish are part of nature. i only add fish food, water, chelated iron, and sea salt to my system.
And dont forget the fish are food also. There is one thing i am missing Shrimp. My system will be complete then. (fish poo feeds the shrimp)
Where can you purchase these industrial Deep Water Culture Reservoirs?
You're wearing a tee shirt in the middle of winter. Basil growing isn't that impressive. Try it in Wisconsin, or Colorado.
John you're the man
