You want to learn how to design an Aeroponic System like a professional. However, you have questions about high-pressure aeroponics and don’t really know where to start. You Ask: How many nozzles? What pump to use? Will you help me with my design? I don’t know where to start. Let’s talk about the systems used in high-pressure aeroponics. 1. Misting System – includes the nozzles/flow-rate, and misting interval. Learn flow-rates: Accumulative Flow-rates. Hour and Day. to determine nutrient usage, tube sizing, nutrient residence time – how long to get from point A to B. 2. Delivery System – includes the tubing length and size. The number of fittings like elbows, tees, and valves. The inputs would be length, height, inside diameter, sometimes material type. We can determine the pump needed or losses due to the delivery system. The flow rate plays a vital role in this. 3. Charging System – includes the pressure pump and the pressure tank. Flow range of pump flow rate (GPM), power usage in watts (current or amps), the discharge pressure of the pump. Running duty cycle continuous or periodic run time. Pump demands are depended on the Misting and Delivery Systems. The new Aeroponics Calculator will make you a professional designer helping you choose the number of nozzles, the tubing size, and length, the right pump, provide the power usage, backup power requirements for each duration, runtime or duty cycle configurations. You explain these concepts sooo good, thanks for the awesome videos. I'm just getting into aeroponics as I've fiddled a little with hydroponics before. Do you have any idea why this technology isn't used in an enormous scale? And also, YES I'd love this calculator.

  • Wesley Nichols 8 months ago

Yes I would like the calculator.

  • Would like to see the calculator. Thanks for the video.

Lee Just want to tell you how much I've enjoyed every single episode of your High Tech Gardener videos. I'm an old fella now, but all of my life I've searched for and followed the spark of enlightened science and brilliance to keep me feeling like the young boy who's never left. I'm gung-ho right now with beginning hydroponics, But… I've stopped dead in my tracks since viewing your introduction videos and now I've almost finished the entire series, knowing once will not be enough. They just keep getting better and you explain this new material with such enthusiasm and knowledge that it's like a book you just can't put down. Thank you for all of the hard work, thought and organization you have put into your precious online tome. It's a masterpiece, it's still evolving and your followers can not wait for your new chapters to appear. Thanks a Lot Lee….. bob brown melbourne florida…..Yes too, please include me in the release of your online calculator.

YES! Please develop this calculator, it will be a great resource for the Aeroponic gardener. Thank you for helping to help us to be able to grow plants in an controlled environment. While getting the maximum production from a small space and maximizing your use of time.

I like your logical based approach, which you back up with the evidence to support your hypothesizes. By presenting the influences of the factors involved in the complete system, you increase the efficiency, while lowering the maintenance involved in keeping a system running. Keep the videos coming! Live long and prosper.

  • High-pressure aeroponic need to be in a vertical tower or it can be an horizontal like in soil? You can grow anything in high-pressure aeroponics?

  • Björn Allvin 8 months ago

This looks awesome! I would love to get this calculator. My system will have 32 nozzles. I’m also a react developer so if you’d like some help I’d be glad to give it. For example adding an option to use metric values :-). Great work!

The flowrate of a nozzle running for one minute will be less than 12 mistings of 5 seconds each.
