Thank you!
How many days from beginning until harvest?
This system is so inspiring. Thanks for making this video. You got my brain humming on some whacky things to try.
alsalmo alikom my name is nour i am from jordan i am intersting in aeroponic project for potato microtubers production and i like to contact you to establish such a project in my country jordan ,,how we can do it ,,,many thanks
harika ,
Nice video Erol. Im starting the same project in Mexico. How many potatoes per plant can I produce with this method?
it depends on varieties. avg it could start after 45 days after transplanting.
Nice Work!! How long does it take from planting to harvesting??
Erol bey denemenizi takip ediyorum.
@ntomaylor, thanks and wish you happy new year. Actually pomp capacity according to the your system how it is big. i use 5,5 HP 7,7 kwa pomp for my each unit of greenhouse. Cheers
Nice work. Great big aero setup. What kind of pump are you using ?
Bilginize. Selamlar
ilginize cok tesekkur ederim.
This is just my 2 cents, but if you put those plants on a carousel and use centripical force to spin them, they will grow much heartyer. The centripical force act's as the gravity. I have thought about this principle many times over the years and I think I have a way to grow vast amounts of food in outer space. We could also experiment with how our plants will act under three or five times earths gravity, in an effort to find out if earth plants would be suitable for another planet?
PO-TA-TOES! boil 'em mash 'em stick 'em in a stew!
Aeroponics can give a disease free vegetables in indoor kitchen garden…This technology having a bright future…
I'm suggesting that aeroponics will replace the traditional farm.
From space!
Using a fine mist spray would do the job, they just have to know how little or how much to get enough coating on the floating plant matter. As for collecting the solution that ends on the sides of the chamber; I'm guessing they have ideas how to do that. If nothing else, artificial gravity (by centrifuge) can be used if neccesary.
WOW! This is INCREDIBLE.
How does the aeroponic system work in zero g? How does the nutrient solution get back to the res? What prevents it from just floating around?
nery let me tell you, as long as you germinate the seed, THERE IS nothing that can kill it, except you, you wont even need pesticides if every week or so u take a look at it and touch them
I wonder if this can be done here. Its very interesting. I think that I am going to learn a little more about Aeroponics. Would love to experiment with this. Great video.
What State do you live in ?
And yes no goverment can grant us the rights that we
are already born with !
They can only take away our rights ..they never give us rights because they don't own us !
The indoor verticle aqluaponic system seems to be doing quite well. regarding standard food crops next project will be experimetation with tuber crops. saw this cool youtube article about aquaponic potatoes the question now is how do they keep the taters from going green with exposure to light?

SPACE POTATO'S
That's good, but what happens if the potatoes die mid journey ?
May I know, compared to what, it takes 60 % less water ? Compared to drip irrigation or regular irrigation ?
only 60 %less water ? i thought 90%!
@210482fmj
"Raised with no pesticides, nutrients or additives that are not derived from plants or animals"
Either can be done with plant or animal based Nutrients just as easily as farming in soil.
So how is aero or hydro not Organic? Oh wait you didn't think to research something before QQ'ing about the ebil chemicals. That's your problem you Don't think.
@210482fmj
You should stop eating chemicals so we don't have to listen to your stupidity anymore.
@210482fmj Even organic farmers use fertilizer. Whether you use ammonium nitrate or cow dung, you have to enrich the soil to keep getting good yields. Even dung is made up of "chemicals."
