The Aerogarden is the best way to grow herbs>>>t.co/XQf2LXinzA  . My wife and I were in search of something small that would allow us to grow herbs year round that doesn't draw too much power; this is that product.

This is some what right, but you have to put fish in the tub, so the pump feeds the plant the minerals,to make it a super food not just water.

good idea with the foam tape.

Supposedly roots grow better when they're dry.  They try to find water.  That's one reason why people cycle pumps on and off (so I'm told).

I'm confused, you said to leave the water on. How does this NOT over water?
I thought you are supposed to dry medium completeoh before watering again

thats interesting. I haven't seen a sprayer yet. A good concept. Why do you run for 24 hours? Depending on the crop, do you need to water on a timer? What are you growing? are you using aeration at all?

when I started it looked great nice even water everywhere. Then out of no where I started having issues with the sprinklers i'm not sure if my pump isn't strong enough "EcoPlus 185 Submersible Pump" or what. It seemed like every time i turned around there was an issue that cost $10-15 and a trip to walmart or where ever else I dropped the idea and settled for "dwc" and my plants are coming around slowly but the roots look great.. I'm hoping I will be able to salvage this container for a cloner.

my question is… how are you keeping the water temperature up around 20-23 celcius?? also, what kinda of feeding schedule do you use for optimum results? altho i'll take a peek at your sit to see if you mention it there :]

just wonderful my man! what ive found with the water pump issues is merely using womens nylons to cover it and prevent damage to the plants root system.. this is exactly what ive been looking for, being a recirculating top feed system/flood and drain man ive been wanting to build a aero/dwc hybrid, especially after seeing the results on those aquamist systems ive been sold and been thinking about logistics of making a hybrid ever since. good work bro :thumbs up:

If you want to find out something, yes you can ask the man here or you can high light the words you see, or type them in if they are not there and go search for it.

hydroponic spray seems to be the key words you need.

I am not trying to be a z hole, just a fyi
