Public schools need more accountability. I don't hear in this video that charter schools don't work. I'm sure some are good and some suck. Accountability isn't necessarily bad, but I don't want that to be an excuse for the government to run them. We see how that works, now.
The city should sell the school buildings to the charters
How come we never see black male teachers in these charter schools? If we can see more black male teachers in charters schools than in the regular public schools, then our black male students are benefiting from charter schools along with the rest of the student population.

I think this is awesome. More charters and less union schools.
Charter schools exist for the sole purpose of preparing students for college. Charter schools work. The education politburo hates anything that works. America's education system is much like the Soviet Union shortly before its collapse.
No accountability and the public doesn't get to know how you spend money.
I do think some charter schools are good on how they teach the kids. they make it fun for the kids and kids engage in the classroom. one thing I dont agree with is that they need to be transparent with the funds going in and where those funds are going. we need transparency
