Dear Saiji – my tomatoes look horrible this year, I have flowers and fruit but they are all curly – I have done my internet research and I have ruled out pests (by observation) and pathogens – because of none of the side effects mentioned. We were giving too much water which has been corrected, we did compost and fed but still they look horrible – What to do??
1. Where do you get the material for composting? Is it just the existing 130 sq. ft garden + your kitchen waste? Do you take kitchen waste from your neighbours?
2. What was the source for your compost when you started out?
3. Would you say that due to the intensive nature of your garden, for individual plants, the light levels are like that of a shade under a tree on our roads?
