    You can use powdered oyster shells for calcium and it lasts longer than lime. I wonder where you would find oyster shells around Louisiana? LOL!   Thanks for all your hard work and fun!

    hEAVENS NO. pLANT THOSE TOMATOES REAL DEEP AS THEY WILL DEVELOPE ROOTS ON ALL THE SEM BELOW THE SOIL. mORE ROOTS BETTER ABLE TO TAKE UP WATER AND NUTRIENTS.

    @theciskokidd … Our temps range from 90-100+ degrees in the summer as well. I’d just make sure the soil stays moist cause your humidity is a lot less than ours…….Donald
