David Burjan (Bauder) presents two principles of flat roof. The basis of one of them is trapezoidal metal sheet, while the basis of the other is concrete. In both cases the roof is only partly a walk-on roof but a completely walk-on version is also possible. A more complex variant is an extensive or intensive green roof, which requires — besides hydro and thermal insulation — also a root barrier and water retention.
