Imagine creating a green, growing plant wall in your own school. Inspired by the vertical garden of Lincoln Center and other places, Upper School science teacher Steven Carpenter decided to offer students a fifth-term elective in which students created such a wall at Avenues. The Living Wall course, explains Steven, is “a marriage of science, art, design, programming and engineering that was just big and complex enough for a group of 10 to 15 students to tackle over the course of five weeks.” http://www.avenues.org/en/nyc/ http://open.avenues.org/ Video Rating: / 5 Related PostsPi Wall Vertical Hydroponic Grow System Living WallsDIY Zen Inspired Living Wall Art Using Air PlantsTournesol VGP Living Wall SystemWall of Life Foliage Designs Systems 2 Living Green WallsBright Green Living Wall PlanterBuilding VT Pro Design’s Hybrid Living Wall
