Just read further on the Heirloom Gardening magazine website, and they’ve been around since 2003. Dont’ know how I missed them!
Has anybody heard of Heirloom Gardening magazine? I just stumbled across a website for it, and it looks great. I’d like to hear about planting sweet peas in the Atlanta area. Has anyone had success?
Lynn, the year I planted them, I made a hillock and planted them near a support – a fence actually. They were oriented toward the South. They came out very well. My friends who live in Cornelia have also grown them successfully and I believe it’s because their summers are slightly cooler than here. They also have good luck with nasturtiums,…[Read more]
Lynn, here is a great article link from Renee’s seeds. While they concede that it is more difficult to grow them in the Southeast, they say it can be done.
