Hi Bob
I noticed you have tubs what kind of fruits trees coud i grow in tubs as we are renting ATM so want to take every plant with us in time thanks?
What a beautiful melon, I wonder if we get them here in NZ
Hi Bob, I have just had a huge Leyland Cypress hedge taken down from around my property. I am going to give the bigger wood away for firewood. Can I use the smaller stuff for mulch ?
Paw paw FTW lol. I been learning a lot from you! about to start my own system. hopefully I would do videos.
Why is the melon covered with cloth?
Because of pests?
Interesting! I heard somewhere that if a tree is "worried" that it might die it will put more of its energy reserves into fruiting to ensure its ultimate survival through seeds. Don't know if that's true, but it would explain why the Tahitian Lime holds onto its fruit better when it's neglected a bit, and why it feels there's no need to expend the effort to produce fruit when it's regularly well fed.
please make more video i love watch it
Hi Rob,
What i found, what works against bacterial, viral or fungal infections in an aguaponic system is this:
chlorine dioxide gas dissolved in water.
It is actually used in an other way to cure humans/animals in a way, the medical/pharmaceutical world doesn't really want anyone to know.
You can find a lot on this subject if you search for MMS – CDS – Jim Humble.
What it is:
It is sodium chlorite mixed with a citric acid. This gives Chorine dioxide gas, this is pushed through water and the water takes it in.
I used the water with the gas and poured it with the fish as they had a bacterial infecction going on. It took less then one day, the water cleared up and the fish started healing very rapidly. I hold gold fish, so not the strongest species, but they thrive !!!
It is really cheap to make and works wonders. Also on humans ! 🙂
cheers,
Rene

Awesome video! I love Melons!
Great video as always Rob, thanks.
Thanks for the tour Rob, enjoyed it as always.
Gidday Rob, temps have been radical, no doubt about that. Thanks for getting back to me on my video about the 28 spotted Lady Beetle.
I have had to hold back sowing microgreens too, waiting for cooler temps this Autumn
I hope it goes well at the docs next week for your back!
Happy Gardening

Nice plot round up… I have fruit envy watching your vids… our season here in the UK gonna start in about a month or two, just wish it was warm enough and long enough to grow something more exotic, videos are available if anyone's interested.
Hey Rob
Thanks for the walk around. We recently had tree work done as well. 5 poplars between 60' and 100' tall. Was fun watching the guys cut them down, writing the cheque…. not so much.
Take care mate, stay hydrated
Cheers from Canuckistan

Great content, I think aquaponics is so interesting, thanks for the video. Btw I just started a new channel, that will be covering gardening, chicken for eggs/meat, hunting, woodworking, gun reviews/shooting, getting pigs this summer. Please come on over and subscribe. Thanks
Thanks Rob! Enjoyed another one!
Great update as always Rob! Are you still planning on getting the chickens? I've heard that mushroom herb is high in Ca and would probably be a good self-harvest crop to plant for the 'chooks'? Cheers!
Green pawpaw's seeds are good to kill parasite, rite ?
