  • With the color of water I guess they are using biofloc technology in raceways using P vannamei, a wanderer species. I hope your are getting good survival rates. Good luck in your farming endeavor guys.

    since they are using a brackish water, the water won't be crystal clear. But if you look at the video again, when they pull the shrimp out in the buckets, the shrimp are clean and ultimately don't need to be rinsed in order to see them. Since Shrimp are bottom dwellers that says something for how clean their water is. The water would have to be filtered or their shrimp would be dyeing on a pretty quick basis.

    I have been around the Eastern Shore all my life and i just found out about this! i Like the American Grown Style, Most of the shrimp has that "Farm Raised Product of Thailand" I'd Rather See "Farm Raised Product of The USA"

    this isn't anything new. they almost make it sound like these guys invented the idea of aquaculturing shrimp.

    these are white shrimp, so its seawater not freshwater.Freshwater prawns have claws.
